Nordic Camp 2025

Program

All week 

We will start each day with a gathering at 09.00 at the main stage were we will inform about the day and present the activity that we will do. All leaders have two meetings each day, one at 08.30-09.00 and one at 18.30-19.00. We will also have a district debrief every day at 19.00-20.00 were you will meet everyone in your country/district.

 

Saturday 

This is the day when you all finally arrive to camp! On Saturday, the first day of camp, we will gather at 14:00 by the Café and walk together to our very own stage where the opening ceremony will take place. After the opening ceremony you’re free to explore the campsite, raise your tents, and unpack. 

 

Sunday  

It’s time to Pimp your campsite! You will get resources to be able to make your campsite the most gorgeous place in the entire campground. Teamwork will make the dream work! 

We will also take photos of the countries and districts during the day. You can see here  which time your country will gather at the main stage to take your photos.

Monday 

Nature quiz walk 

We will enjoy beautiful nature with a nature quiz walk, with questions related to 4H and a hike in the beautiful surroundings we’re sure you’ll have a blast. For those of you not on the walk you will be able to participate in our own: 

 

Culture fair 

We ask that each country get together and brainstorm a station that represents your country and culture. For this station you can use pictures, clothes, music, even food, the sky’s the limit.  

We would like for you to set up your stands and keep them running during the day so that everyone can participate in this activity. Our culture fair will be held on Monday by your campsites, please dazzle us with your creativity! 

 

Tuesday 

Odd Sport 

Time for an odd sport. The sport will be kept a secret until the day of, but we can guarantee that it will be loads of fun! 

Talent Showcase

The talent showcase can be a sketch, a song, poetry slam, a fairytale, a gymnastics routine, you decide what you want to do! 

What we want you to include in the talent showcase is the phrase “mmm jag gillar köttbullar”, a viking helmet and a song that really represents your country and/or district. Other than these requirements, we want you to have fun with it! 

Each country will get an allotted time as follows:  

1st night of showcase: 

Finland: 20 min 

Finland-Swedish: 20 min 

Sweden: 40 min 

2nd night of showcase 

Norway: 1 hour 30 min 

Each country will then decide if you want to do something together as a whole or if you’d prefer to divide the time between the different districts. Before the 2nd of July we want you to submit your acts for the shows HERE so we can plan the evening.  

Visitors Day

On Tuesday it is also the visitors day! Do you have family or friends that are close to the camp and want to come and say hi? Then they can come on Tuesday to look at the campsite, the acitivities and take a Swedish Fika in the café. When you as the visitor arrive to the campsite you need to register at the information desk.

 

Wednesday 

For our activity day we have some different activities for you to choose from. The spots are limited so sign up for the activity you want to do now! You need to sign up for the activities HERE before the 2nd of July.  

Activities we’re offering at Strömma: 

  • Bumper balls (50 spots) 
  • Paintball (30 spots) 
  • Circus school (40 spots) 
  • Improv theatre (30 spots) 
  • Chill on campsite (football, volleyball, brännboll, kubb)  

 

Activities offered at Sätila Sand: 

Lygnern is a big lake close to the campside, you will be driven there by bus. Here you will be able to swim in lake Lygnern, relax on the beach or, if you fancy, play some disc golf. There will also be an opportunity to go canoeing in lake Lygnern as well as taking a hike to Ramhultafallet which is around 5km each way. 

  • Relax on the beach

  • Hike to Ramhultafallet (150) 

Please keep in mind that if you want to play disc golf you have to pay and arrange for this activity yourself, you’ll be able to do that in a kiosk on the beach. 

 

Liseberg: 

Liseberg is an amusement park located in Gothenburg, Sweden, that opened in 1923. It is one of the largest in number of visitors with about three million visitors annually. Among the noteworthy attractions is the wooden roller coaster Balder, twice (2003 and 2005) voted as the Best Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster in the world in a major international poll. 

We will make the booking for Liseberg for you and then you will pay for your ticket on the campsite before you leave to Liseberg. The ticket price is 740 per person, this includes entry to the park, free rides and a food coupon worth 115kr to spend at the park’s restaurants. You will be driven there by bus which will take 45 minutes. It is 200 spots for this activity.

Thursday 

Did someone say Volleyball? On Thursday we will begin a volleyball tournament of epic proportions. 

For our volleyball tournament each district/country gets to sign up their own teams. You are allowed more than one team per district if you have a lot of volleyball enthusiasts, you are also allowed to borrow players from other districts if your district is on the smaller side. Sign up your team HERE  before the 2nd of July.  

 

Friday 

We will play the final matches of volleyball and end the camp with a closing ceremony.
